Best of Days
Ashley of www.ashleyannphotography.com/blog inspired me to start a little journal of sorts where each day I can focus on one "best" of my day. Or two or three. But just someplace I can record those little moments I don't want to just pass by and be gone. Thanks for sharing in these moments with me :-).

It's always sad when your kid gets hurt, but I've got to say, there's just something about when they come crying and wanting some cuddles and hugs that just makes your day :-). Will tripped on the step at the park today and smacked the bridge of his nose on the next step. Gonna be a nice couple of bruises. But at least I got some cuddle time ;-).

The kids played outside happily while I made dinner for over an hour. When I did hear Kate crying I looked out to see Will sitting on the base of the slide holding her and tickling her belly while rocking back and forth. What a sweet big brother!

Not really a "best" other than that I am happy my babies are growing up like they should but it breaks my heart that Baby now says "horsey" instead of the "eeash" she's said for the last year or two :-(.

Will making a bridge from the couch to the coffee table with his body and letting Baby get safely across the shark infested waters of the carpet. They are finally playing. Hooray!

Baby telling her daddy in very stern voice complete with finger shaking, "Tease. Mama. NO!" So glad to have one on "my" side.

Wow, I really am a slacker on this blog. But I guess what I'm thankful for is that it's mine and it's here to serve whatever purpose suits my life at any given point in time. And right now Baby is changing SO fast that I really felt I needed to get back to recording some little things about her before she's grown up and moved out. Like the way she scooted into the back corner of Will's bunkbed when she knew I was after her to get her down. She quickly folded her hands, bowed her head, and said, "Pray! Pray! Pray!" I could barely lift her down for laughing!
